Live TV. Iso. It’s a different world!
I have to admit, 2020 sure is a year of firsts – notions like social distancing, Covid clusters and lockdown hardly meant a thing to anyone six months ago.
Time for Live TV to adapt to Iso
Live TV sure has had to get a makeover too.
A couple of weeks ago, I was preparing for a live TV interview on the business news channel Ticker TV . I did my own hair, make-up and even created my own studio from my humble bedroom. Little did I think, when I started working out of my bedroom in iso, that I would still be there 10 weeks later…
The experience was highly unusual as I have always done studio interviews in the network studio. With social distancing rules in place in NSW, nearly all TV and radio interviews are being done remotely.
The prep was given via both email and a check-in phone call, around 30 minutes prior to the live cross. I was fortunate enough to come in on the coat-tails of the previous guest interiewee, Sarah Hanson-Young.
I had to focus on my eyeline like I had eye contact with the host, Ahron Young, and deliver answers in succinct form knowing there would be no re-records on a live TV slot! (Let’s hope the kids got that too).
Iso – the harshest critic!
How do you think I went? I need to refine my sound but we are so happy we got to share what we do at Super-Rewards with millions of Australians. And I noticed Sarah had continued to listen in to my interview, nodding and smiling.
Take a look here to see me in action on Ticker TV, live TV.
Oh and once you view it, the crew at Super-Rewards has a special offer for you.
We have set up a special code ‘Ticker’ so from now to 1 July, new Super-Rewards members can sign up, using this code and after you shop you get $5 added to their account.
